One of my favourite motivational quotes (and I apologise for the cheesiness of it) is:
“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…it’s about learning to dance in the rain”
Vivian Greene
Sometimes I feel that I go through life confronted with a headwind. I want to keep going forward but something (money, mental health, feelings) just slows me down.
I feel that I’m on the right path when suddenly doubt and anxiety are thrown into my face.
I call these periods my “black cloud” times. These are times when I find it very difficult to move on, I lack motivation…I lack strength.
During those moments I feel like it will never end. I’ll always feel this way.
Yet it does end. My positive feelings remerge.
When the rain pours, and the sun starts to come out, a rainbow will appear.
When I see a rainbow – I am reminded that the rain will stop and the black clouds will go away.
I was inspired to write this post after just seeing an amazing rainbow.
I’m going through some changes at the moment, my body is changing and my mental health is suffering a bit – but I know…I will get through it…and I will emerge dancing.
