Dear readers,
How are you today?
I’m currently sitting in my new apartment, surrounded by IKEA cardboard. I’ve been up since about 5:30am slicing said cardboard with a knife – and I’ll be honest…it was a good start to the day – I got a bit of exercise and let out a bit of aggression…so yay!
Anyway: 5 things I’m good at..
1: Using public transport
Whenever I visit a new country, I’ll immediately master the public transportation system (if there is a public transportation system to master…)
I’ve used public busses in Taiwan, Japan, China, America etc etc etc…
I don’t actually own a car and so I’m reliant on public transport – which luckily in Switzerland is the absolute best!
2: Copying accents
I’ve always been quite good with languages and I’m one of those people who will start to pick up an accent when I’m surrounded by it.
I do improv and comedy and use a lot of accents in my sets.
I can also talk to animals….I’ve confused a few cats with my “meows” and I once had a little conversation with a guinea pig.
3: Customer service
I’m a natural people pleaser, so this comes easily to me. I really enjoyed working in retail because it gave me a lot of pleasure when a customer smiled at me!
4: Following choreography
I was a shy kid and the only way I would be able to join in with other kids is if I learnt the dances at holiday camps (Agadoo, Macarena, YMCA etc.)
I’m quite quick a picking up choreography.
5: Procrastination
I should be doing a million other things right now….but now I’m doing this!
