What’s the most fun way to exercise?

I hate working out.

Ok I tell I lie.

I enjoy working out – when I’m working out. But I hate the thought of having to work out.

I hate the feeling of my heart speeding up, I hate getting breathless…but I love the endorphins afterwards.

However I have my own personal workout life hacks which enable me to workout and have fun.

Go to a disco which is playing cheesy favourite songs from your life.

I love going to 80’s parties with my best friend and we spend about 4 hours dancing non stop. And when I say dancing – I mean…really going for it! Jumping up and down, shaking our heads…jazz hands…the works!

“Maniac”, “Don’t stop me now”, “Girls just wanna have fun” – these are songs which will really bring up a sweat.

    Go for a walk in an area of natural beauty

    I live in Switzerland – so it’ll be difficult to find a place which is not naturally gorgeous – but try and head out to a forest or the country side. Walk up some hills. Listen to the birds. Do some yoga with a wandering alpaca.

    Pretend you’re trying to survive a zombie apocalypse

    One magic trick I can give you. Use your imagination and let your mind wander…this means you’ll no longer be thinking about the racing heart, sore muscles or general breathlessness.

    When I go hiking – I like to think that I’m a cast member of “The Walking Dead” and then pretend I’m trying to climb up away from Zombies…because Zombie’s aren’t great at walking up hills…I’d assume.

    So those are my tips!

    Keep fit and have fun.

    (Oh yeah…you could also…you know…in the bedroom…with someone…)
